An early shot from when I had picked up a quality camera again after a long hiatus. I awoke to the sound of Wolves howling in the distance to watch the sun rising and burning the fog off the water and warm up the dock. I have not adjusted the color or saturation in processing this shot, it was really that orange.
February of 2014 brought a cold snap that dumped snow and frozen rain in Portland for a few days. This resulted in a lot of ice around the area. After a few days of being stuck in the house I ventured outside and one of the first things I found was our rain chain frozen over but slowly starting the thaw.
